The motive for these works was the heraldic symbol " hand from the cloud".
The hand that comes out of the clouds signifies divine Providence; it is the hand of God the Father. I had no intention of scrupulously convey all the symbolic details and their interpretation. I was inspired by the external image. For example, the hands in my works are women's hands, and the gestures do not have a religious meaning, but are intuitive.
I gave to this motive volume. The formed hands arise from the element. The "clouds" is made from the real bark of the African mopane tree. The hands are painted in oil on figured plywood. Natural wood as a symbol of something miraculous, and realistically paited hands as a symbol of the connection of this unknowable element with a human.
