INTUITION is the strongest in me.
It guide me in the process of painting and is a lever of unconscious desire for the internal nature of objects. Meditations are an integral part of my life and often images come in them.
The full cycle of manufacturing the «backing» for work is on its own. Living material collects the energy that hovers around it: sharp scissors cut off the edges, a soft brush with cold soil covers the linen, warming in the process, the remnants of paint on the floor from previous works, carrying whole stories, are printed on a new canvas and already fill it with plots, 24 hours to dry and soak up a new life.
FEEL — the main thing that I have.
There are two options: either the canvases prepared for the work themselves, guide me and inspire the plots, or the plots themselves select the canvases and so organically emerge on the surface, connecting with the remnants of the paint on the «backing», as if it should be otherwise.
COLOR — there is no me without it.
Each painting is partly a self-portrait of the artist. As Socrates said: know yourself. That is what I do, working with color. The psychic power of the paint causes emotional vibration, and the color gives the impression of a sweet or bitter, soft or prickly, aggressive or tender, affecting all senses and prompting action, for example, salivation or the desire to stroke a specific color in order to feel it as much as possible.
Two main passions of my life are combined in the paintings: taste and color, and not only the external similarity of energies is revealed, but also the internal state, which can change in a matter of minutes. It is interesting to observe infantilism, naivety, openness, sensuality, confidence, embarrassment, sometimes pride and always brightness.
Close your eyes for a couple of seconds, inhale deeply the air, gently release it from yourself, listen to the beating of your heart, smile and only then begin to look at my pictures.
